Mr. B's opened at the turn of the millennium with the mission to serve delicious, irresistible comfort food. We began our journey in South Carolina - the food was such a hit we soon expanded into the Richmond - DMV area. Mr. B's has been a family business since the start!

Quentin Brown - Owner's Bio
It was about 25 years ago my dad (Leroy Brown) opened a seafood restaurant with the intent to bring something new to our community. Being a well-respected model in the community everyone called him Mr. B. I saw his determination and how he didn't let bad days outweigh the good days and the love he has for his family, and community.
After my mom died, we saw that he was getting discouraged and tired, so he decided to give up on cooking, which motivated us to keep his legacy going. We are now mobile serving our community which allows us to spread our good seafood to other communities. I always dreamed to make my mom a dad happy and proud someday. It's sad that my mom isn't here to see our accomplishments but on the other hand to see my dad happy that his legacy is still thriving means the world to me. Really a dream comes true.
Now that I'm a father and grandfather it motivates me to be a Mr. B. The love I have for my family and my supporting community pushes me to make it happen every day. My dream of Mr. B's On The DMV & RVA is my reality.
